If you do the same task every day, that task is the perfect first job for an AI agent. Think of an agent as a new hire: you explain the job well once, and from then on it does the work.
And so you don't get stuck on where to start, I made a file that builds your first agent with you, step by step.
Which task should your agent take?
Check your task against this list. If it ticks at least 3 boxes, you found it.
For example:
- Finding content topics for your niche
- Analyzing and summarizing financial data
- Preparing marketing reports
How to use the file
First download the file, then pick the path that fits you.
- Open a new chat and add the file. Want it there every time? Add it to a Project instead.
- Type
Startand send. - Answer the questions. It handles the rest.
- Open a new chat and upload the file. To keep it around, add it to a Project or as knowledge in your custom GPT.
- Type
Startand send. - Answer the questions.
- Put the skill folder inside your skills folder. You have two options:
- Open Claude Code and ask it to build your first agent with the skill:
What happens next
The file asks you short questions, one at a time: what job should the agent do, what result do you want, and what information does it need. Then it shows you your agent's card so you can check it and change anything.
Finally, with its help, you connect the tools you need and test it until it works your way. One more thing: your agent never sends, pays or posts anything without your OK. That's built in from day one.
In short
- Pick the task you repeat every day that eats the most time.
- Add the file to Claude, ChatGPT or Claude Code and type
Start. - Answer the questions, connect your tools, test it.
